Prophecy by Fabian Miranda
'Prophecy

Prophecy
Garvey prophesied
If there is a stand to be taken
Let not my people be forsaken
If there is a man to be blamed
Let the politician be named
People, heed the call
Our backs are now against the wall
Our backs are now against the wall
There is no redemption in sight
Until we people have our rights
Curfew fever burn through the night
Babylon won't sleep tonight
People, heed the call
Our backs are now against the wall

If there is a stand to be taken
Let not my people be forsaken
If there is a man to be blamed
Let the politician be named
People, heed the call
Our backs are now against the wall
Do you hear me calling
Do you hear me calling
This is a warning
This is a warning
Get away from the wall
Get away from the wall
Stand up and be tall
Get away from the wall
This is a warning
Do you hear the calling
People crying
Misery in the streets
People dying
Hanging off the 'ee
Do you hear me calling
Do you hear me calling'

With this release Black Redemption presents a travel back in time to the year 1977 and offers a fresh take on two roots classics.
Side A holds a roaring relick of the famous anthem ’Prophecy’ by Fabian Miranda, while on side B the needle reveals an uptempo version of the well known Everton Dacres tune ‘Jah Jah Come’. Both come to new life with these unique reinterpretations by Sista Zari from Mexico on vocal duties and Mighty Massa from Japan on production. Classic material reconstructed with a distinctive touch and sound, including some dub excursions to make the musical journey complete…
Both sides were transferred to 1/2inch Tape for extra analogue warmth, and mastered and cut with care by Star Delta / Delta Disc, UK.
“People, heed the call
